Have you tried Chao Cheese? It’s my favorite! And these little beauties are a delicious creation.


5 Minutes

  • Portobello mushrooms (how ever many you feel like eating, or serving)

  • Chao cheese, cut into 1 inch squares

  • Fresh spinach leaves

  • Jalapeño, sliced

  • Cooking spray

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper


7 Minutes

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Very lightly grease a baking sheet.

  3. Clean and de-stem mushrooms.

  4. Flip, mound side up. Lightly spritze with cooking spray and lightly season with salt, pepper, garlic and cayenne. Flip over and place on baking sheet.

  5. Fold a leaf of spinach into fours, until it fits somewhat inside of the mushroom. Top with cheese and sliced jalapeño. Lightly spray with cooking spray again and place in oven.

  6. Roast for approximately 7 minutes.
