This was my FAVORITE as a child! Thanks, grandma!

Ingredients

15 Minutes

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons bakings soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 1/4 cup sugar

  • 4 eggs (or egg substitute)

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 2/3 cup water

  • 2 cups overripe mashed banana

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation

1 Hours     15 Minutes

  1. Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil and water. Blend well.

  2. Add bananas to mixture and fold in nuts.

  3. Divide mixture into two 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pans which have been sprayed with cooking oil (my personal favorite is Bakers Joy).

  4. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes (maybe less).
